It is vital to have a website that represents your business on the internet. But often, clients also want to know your exact geographical location, especially if you run a store, restaurant, barbershop, or any other type of brick-and-mortar enterprise. 

That is why Boxmode is introducing the easy-to-use Maps widget that allows you to show your precise location on a map using the Google Maps service.

Editing the widget

To start editing your Maps widget, click on it to call out its controls. Here you can see the Settings and Design (the brush icon) controls.

Design

Customize the appearance of your Maps widget by configuring its border and the shadow effect. Toggle the switches on to get access to more detailed parameters of the border and shadow.

Settings for the border include:

  • Color
  • Size
  • Radius (Rounding-off the border’s corner radius)

Settings for shadow include:

  • Blur
  • Distance
  • Angle
  • Color

Here, you can specify your location and add the location description. 

Location

Here you can set the address that Google will use to mark your location on the map. In the Address field, start typing the address and then select it from the dropdown list to set the location.

Description

Whenever you add or edit your address, you can optionally enter the location description.
